I have a PhD in Environmental Policy and Ethics, with a specialisation in biodiversity conservation. My research focussed on Darwinian theory as applied to conservation and on the idea of "a feeling for the organism", described by Evelyn Fox Keller in her book of the same name about Barbara McClintock.
